- Trunk slightly forward, not upright
Progressive plyometric training — starting with double-leg box jumps and advancing to single-leg reactive hops — retrains the neuromuscular system to land safely under fatigue. - Athletes with significant quad-to-hamstring strength imbalances
- Athletes who have recently undergone rapid growth spurts (youth athletes)
